Thursday Morning Modified Doubles Social Curling League
This social league is open to all ages and skill levels of curlers, irrespective of gender.
It is a modified doubles league. The rules are modified so that there is no sweeping from the hack to the hog line. The convenors will assign you to a team. Teams will be changed after every round-robin session.
We curl an 8 end game starting at 10:00 am every Thursday morning. To accommodate the same number of players as last year (24) we will have three sheets of doubles and 1 sheet of traditional curling - 6 ends. There will be a bye team (4 curlers) which will provide for spares when required.
If you've never played Doubles before, we'll provide training and assistance! Don't hesitate to give it a try!
This is a very social and fun league, so if you are interested in having fun and getting exercise, come join us!
