Thursday Morning Modified Doubles Social Curling League
This social league is open to all ages and skill levels of curlers, irrespective of gender.
The rules are modified so there is no sweeping from the hack to the hog line. We will be playing with the power play rule this season - copies of the rules will be available each week. The convenors will develop the schedule and players will be shuffled so you are playing with different curlers each week.
We anticipate having two draws every Thursday morning; one at 9:30am and one at 11:30am. If we have full registration, we will have 36 curlers. If this is the case there will be bye weeks with 2 spares in each draw. If you are unable to play one week, you are responsible to find your own spare - this is particularly important in doubles to ensure the other three players can play that week. Schedules will be posted in advance and we suggest approaching the spares first, and then the curlers in the other draw before going to the full club membership. .
