The Elora Curling Club supports junior curling in many ways and is extremely proud of our junior curling program. Our bantam/junior league for curlers 9-18 is every Friday at 6:00 p.m. We provide coaching for new and experienced curlers. For more information about our program, please email email@example.com.
Registration forms and curling fees for the 2019-20 season should be posted on our website this coming August.
March 23rd is our end of season windup party.
March 9th - We held our annual skills competition tonight. The top five finishers (in no particular order) were Drew, Aaron, Kelsea, Carter and Mitchell. Winner announced at our Mar 23rd year end windup
Feb 16th - Elora hosted our bantam interclub date with eight U18 teams and four U15 teams competing from area clubs. congratsto our three Elora teams Adema & Green from playing in the U18 draw and tea Marcolini in the U15 draw. Thanks to Allyson, Laura, Maria, Leandra, Krista and all the other parent volunteers for a delicious lunch. We raised some money for our U15 Canada Curling Challenge Cup entry in St Catharines at the end of March.
Feb 14th the Centre Wellington DHS boys curling team (Curtis, Aaron, Drew & Mitchell) lost a close B side D10 final. Contrats on a sucessful first season and thanks to coach Bowman.
February 1-2 U18 Qualifiers in Richmond Hill
Our U18 ladies team Ensing (Erin, Halley, Kelsea, Adrianna played their first game against team Kropf from the KW Granite. Starting with three players, elora fell behind 3-0 after three ends. Our girls fought back scoring one in the 8th to lose 6-5. Elora started game two strong on Saturday agsint team Cowan from Oshawa, and was up 5-1 after 5 end. Cowan scored 4 in the 6th and the teams were tied after 8 ends. In the extra, Ensing drawto the side of the 4 ft to score won and win. Game 3 was against Gierling from the Guelph club. Elora started strong up 2-0, but Gerling then roared back to win 8-5. Congratulations on a great season.
January 31st Way to go Team Murphy on your 8-4 win over Team Holman at the Ontario Scotties in Elmira. Solidly in second place. We are so proud of you Grace.
January 26th A big thanks to Lee Jewel and his volunteers at the Acton curling club for a great bantam interclub day, and for providing a delicious meal for our curlers. Great to see eight U18 and six U15 teams from our various clubs. Congrats to our U18 team Farrelly (Stephen, Carter, Michael, Garrett) lost a close one andthen ran up against a tough team fromt he KW granite. TeamMarcolini (Kelsa, Adrianna, Nolan, Trentan) won both of their games. Next interclub in el Eora February 16th
Congratulations to Team Murphy (and lead Grace Holyoke), who qualifier this past weekend for the Ontario Scotties in Elmira from Jan 27 to Feb 2rd.
In the Ontario Hit, tap and Draw competition, Kelsea Marcolini qualified to the provincial finals at the Ontario Scotties later this month, Congrats Kelsea!
Sunday December 30th
Congratulations to Team Coburn (and lead Alice Holyoke), who are Ontario Provincial Under 21 Womens Curling Champs. They finished the round robin 4-3, won a tiebreaker Saturday night, semi- final game Sunday morning , and defeated Team Bernard from Elmira 9-5 in the finals this afternoon. Best of luck in the U21 New Holland Canadian Campionships Jan 19-27, 2019 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Congratulations also to team Kiemele representing the Elora Curling club, third Emma McKenzie and coach Glenn Pauley, who also played in the Under 21 Womens provincials. Second time for Emma playing in a provincial championship.
Congratulations to Team Kuhlmann who defeated Team Green in the battle of CW boys high school curling semi-final game on Tuesday Dec 11th 2018.
Congratulations to the CWDHS boys highschool teams on their zone highschool Gore competitions on Friday Dec 7th. Team Green (Curtis, Aaron, Drew and Mitchell) lost their first game and won their second game. Team Kuhlmann ( Hunter, Matt, Zack and Grayson) lost their first game, but rallied in their second game scoring one in the 8th and stealing in the 9th end to win their second game. Both teams now play against each other on Tuesday with the winner advancing to the final qualifying game. Congrats to all CW players and thanks to their coach Heather Bowman for her time and commitment to the highschool curling teams.

November 24, 2018 Another great bonspiel at the KW Granite for three teams from the Elora club. For our two U18 teams, team Green (Curtis, Aaron, Drew & Carter/Matt) won one and tied one game. Our U18 ladies team Ensing (Erin, Halley, Kelsea & Adrianna) lost game 1 on a last shot in-off by the KW Pace team, and won their second game. Our U15 team Green( Curtis, Stephen, Garrett, Michael & Nolan) were 1 and 1. Thanks to Daryl McGoldrick and his volunteers at the KW Granite club for an excellent day of curling, and to coach Jenn and coach Brent.

November 18, 2018 Congratulations to our U18 girls team Ensing/Wettlaufer who were 1&1 and ended up 5th at the Elmira glow in the dark spiel yesterday. Thanks to the Elmira curling club for hosting a great event. Great curling from team Green (Curtis, Aaron, Drew and Mitchel)l at an Acton bonspiel yesterday. They lost couple of close games. Thanks to Lee Jewell and his Acton volunteers for hosting this bonspiel . Interclub at KW Granite next Saturday.
** U21 PROVINCIAL Qualifiers - Alice Holyoke (Team Coburn) and Emma McKenzie (Team Kiemele) both qualified this afternoon for the U21 Provincials. Way to go ladies!!
November 10, 2018 Our board & card games night after curling last night was a great success. Next games night Friday November 30th.
November 4, 2018 Our first interclub played in Elmira was a success. Thanks to Reg Domaratzki and his volunteers for a great day. As usual, our curlers were great representatives of our curling club. We continue teaching curling skills on Friday nights. We have spots for a couple more curlers. It is not too late to join.

September 15, 2018 Welcome back curlers. If you have not yet registered, you can do so online. Curling fees for the 2018-19 season remain at $80. Our club open house runs Tuesday October 9th to Friday October 12th from 7-9pm. Feel free to come out and throw some rocks. Bring a friend out to try our game. Our first Friday night of curling is October 19th.
